The Alberta First Responder Radio Communication System (AFRRCS) provides and supports the tower and network infrastructure. Support of end user hardware is an agency responsibility. And support of end-user hardware in a P25 phase I trunked system such as AFRRCS is significantly more involved than a conventional VHF type system.
